I have been doing business online since the age of 15, but I guess I am the exception to the rule. Most kids have no place doing business online

NO. At 17, you cannot be legally bound to a contract (if I'm not mistaken). Thus, it would be a very bad thing to allow non-adults to conduct business.

Yes, I think they should be because I started this business when I was 13-14 and I learned so much. I am a well respected member here and I think its immoral to keep a starting career away from young people. Young people currently have limitations but if a 14 year old can get a credit card, why shouldn't they be able to do business. Maybe if you displayed the age more visibly some people who have a problem simply wont deal with them. Also, young people often do not scam because they are trying to make a career, but most older people are more likely to scam... In the long run, age will not stop scammers.
So your saying "non-adults" cant sign a contract so they shouldn't have a job... I got a part-time job at 15, if you limited that there wouldn't be much business out there... I think you should define business because to me your saying only 18+ should only be making money... Age doesn't mean your legit...

Andy, obviously there are exceptions, however statistics show that younger people tend to be carefree and careless about transacting with others. There is a reason why you can't buy drinks when under 21 (in the US) etc. When it comes down to age limits, there's a need for a happy medium and then there is the law.
