With 4000+ backlinks you can rank for ANY keyword using a Blog!

Someone told me: "With 4000+ backlinks you can rank for ANY keyword using a Blog..."

I saw many Blogs by myself as well with few thousand back links rank 1st page for "highly competitive" keywords (often using re-directs!) like: buy viagra, ringtones, casino online, etc.

if you get the same text back links especially google give you price and take you high on search engines. determine which search term you want to be at top and get back such links <a href=site>your keyword</a>

It's called blog spam.. It's fresh content because it's a blog.

blog spam is like having links to so many up to thousands of links from other people's blogs by comments. These private blogs have high PR's that are passed down to the links. Experts in this field uses programs that generates thousands of blog pages then automatically pings and build instant one way links to these blog pages. These blogs are so SE friendly that they meet SE requirements.. uses XML to auto update the blogs contents etc... some uses redirection to forward visitors to their affiliates whilst others prefer the application of adsense. This has becaoming a huge business nowadays thus spamindexing's getting worse

That article is over 18 months old.
Big Daddy was put into place and running fine since March 06.
Part of what it was doing was clearing out spammy sites, spammy sub-domain, even blogs.

But you know who loves blogs right? > MSN and Yahoo. (MSN more-so)
I think google loves that MSN gets all "gunked" up with google's blogs....they do own blogger.

But I'm curious to know if the spamming is still as effective....
anybody have a more recent article?
