Do you guys have a strategy for promoting your proxy sites?
One of my sites is a PR4 so I have linked my other sites to that site. I'm sure thats a big help.
I have also submitted my proxies to a fair amount of proxy top sites.
What else can I do to help popularize my proxy sites?
I've seen some webmasters talk about promoting their proxies on MySpace/Facebook.. To memory, one guy was running a daily proxy list on one of them, had lots of subscribers/friends.
Other than that, how about some old fashioned link trading? I have a "Privacy News & Freeware" block on anonymity.com in which I'd be happy to advertise a quality proxy.
Buying proxy newsletter services can be a good way to get a new proxy into the mix, although it's not beneficial for aged proxies.
