    Afternic's PPC

Has anyone tried Afternic's PPC program yet. Curious to see how well they are paying. Also wonder if hiOsilver will include AN in their wonderful PPCincome.com website?

    Thanks,
    DD

No offense but afternic PPC is a joke. I shifted to sedo and my earnings went up in a big way.
    Genetics.us, Genome.us, Nanotech.us, CosmeticSurgeon.us
    CellularPayments.com, ElectronicsEngineering.com,
    HollywoodTimes.com, TechnologyTimes.com are on sale.

    Re: Afternic's PPC

If Afternic isn't with Google then I don't think your going to do any better than sedo. (I'm not sure if they are or aren't.)

Ive been everywhere and I have most my portfolio at sedo and some at Fabulous. Wish Sedo would add some nice meta tags like Fabulous does for se crawlers.

    Re: Afternic's PPC

Funny how we all have different experiences, but then thats what keeps everyone in business.

Have had much better service with Afternic than sedo. My clickthroughs went through and I earned from .12 cents to $8 a day by moving on one domain name. Moved 200 of them and am trying Fabulous as well.

    Hope it helps.

    Re: Afternic's PPC

My impression of Afternic parking is that their parking pages aren't focused enough on selling the domain name. It's obvious, at the top that the domain is for sale. Unfortunately, with the page design and layout, there is so much other info on the screen, that I think it blends in with the search info and gets lost. I'd rather turn the domains than get a few cents per click. Their pay rate seems to vary???

My personal experience with afternic parking is that revenue is much lower then with domainsponsor, but then again, just my personal experience

More importantly, which parking system SELLS YOUR DOMAINS faster? That is what's important anyway, isn't it? I could care less who pays a nickel, and who pays a dime if neither service turns the domain names I'm trying to sell.

At this time, I have no plans on evaluating Afternic PPC. It does not sound that good. It really takes a lot of time and effort to do a statistically valid evaluation. Thanks for the compliment :>)

    Re: Afternic's PPC

Fast Sales?? Then Afternic...We sell 1-2 domains in the mid xxx range at Afternic every 2 weeks. The x,xxx range about once every 8 weeks..For the higher end market...sedo is better..

***Note...someone asked the secret to this success...and I think its important to realize that luck is the #1 factor....so best to get more opinions than go off of this experience alone

    Hope it helps

    Re: Afternic's PPC

Trafficz.com has been good for me, but they have a "2-click" model that cuts down on the number of paid clicks. (someone has to click twice before they actually click a paid link).

    Re: Afternic's PPC

How much better is it to park your domain at sedo rather than displaying Google ads?

And is there a good potential to make money at sedo to park your domain?

    Re: Afternic's PPC

All these guys.. afternic, sedo.. are just a joke.. Payments Come from Overture, Google, findwhat or the private program (fabulous/kanoodle) with whom you can cleave a direct deal.. If you're working with 'anyone' else then you are simply giving a cut of 'your' money away to an aggregator who is syphoning more than they are telling you about. ie domainsponsor, name your sh*t program.. either get big or buddy up with a big guy who will treat you fairly.

Oh and Adsense.. google.. they read these forums and know that they were shaking up things in the community by offering higher than typical market vs. their peers for traffic pay rates.. and they are working to correct their blunder by paying you less.

    Re: Afternic's PPC

not everyone is big enough to partner directly with overture and google to get higher rates and you as a small individual cannot go directly with google unless you get millions of pageviews a month to the domain i believe.... and i'm sure the ones with popular domains already have their own deals with google etc.

    Re: Afternic's PPC

I'm using both Afternic and sedo domain parking, and the $ you earn entirely depends on the keyword/category that you choose to target.

For me, some domains do well in sedo and not in Afternic, and vice versa, so I park them wherever they can generate more revenue.
