Alexa Ranks/Links

I have a question for a pro. If this is posted in the wrong area, my apologies.

What value should be placed on domains that are redirects, if any? For instance, a domain name that has a good Alexa Rank and numerous Alexa Links but redirect to a live domain.

Anybody answer this for me?

Alexa is a joke.. I've had sites get 5k visitors a day and have a worse rank then sites with no more than 5 visitors a day.

Alexa rank is determined by visitors to your site who have alexa toolbar installed. Just install the alexa toolbar and visit your own website 25 times a day. Your rankings will be under 150,000

One thing though, if your site ranks in the top 10,000, you probably have a decent site.

Alexa is more important in what it not shows then what it shows.

I have a site receiving an average of 15,000 unique visitors PER DAY and alexa ranks it at 49,XXX!

Alexa is a joke, as many people before me have said!
