Best way to get traffic and new signups? PPC, Banner Ads, Buy Traffic etc..?

Hey I am opening soon a new host business and I would like to know what are the best ways to get new signups from you guys that have experience...

I was thinking of making an affiliate program also.. How much should I pay? twice the order amount a % etc...

Affiliate Program will help, also you might want to look into advertising on large forums just as webhostingtalk. Buying advertising spaces on large, heavy traffic sites would also help.

Another tip, this is just my opinion, but to start this off all nice and good you'll need at least 500-1000 in your pocket. (Or less, I may be wrong). Once your business takes off from all the advertising, and if you give a good service, mouth-to-mouth advertising will take its place . Trust me, that works quite incredible once your clients start liking you.

That is one of the most competitive business. You'll need either a heavy budget and Raizan is right, or a great service so ppl will talk about you and from words of mouth....
Don't forget SEO but this will involve time and money goven the market.
