there is lot of junk being accumulated on internet, its gona be lot of hard work for google to thrash this spam. probably google should have a reporting tool in google toolbar to send reports for such sites to be kicked out quick.

Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!So, tonight I found another issue with Google. I found TONS of spam.
I also found out that virtually EVERY typo search reveals nothing but spam, just like those other few sites that had billions of pages indexed. Only now, they have changed their tactics. Now they seem to keep it just below 13,000 pages per domain. Instead, just registering 1000's of domains at 13,000 pages each. I have collected a list of about 40 or so domains in about 30min or less. This is a serious hole/exploit, they need to get it fixed ASAP.
Whats worse? I did whois on some of the domains, most of them were registered just two weeks ago, already they have this many pages indexed.![]()
I could have sat here and copy/pasted spam domains all night, but I got bored with it. I think this is enough to get the point across =\
I stuck the url's and info on digg and my blog, check it out>

Wait, so.. because you've had your names longer than two weeks and you have less pages indexed, you deserve to rank for typos?
The reason they rank for typos is because they target typos. They don't target 'cabinets' because legitimate sites with real content about cabinets are there, and these legit sites don't waste their times with typos.
Anyway, you can email these to Google, and they will usually be removed from results within a few days. But why bother reporting other sites? I consider it a waste of my time that could be spent developing my own sites better.
yep jonathan i agree with you, but if theres a feature which would help you report such a site where you mite even land up by some link, it wont take much of your time to report it by a push button
i don't mean that everyone should shut their work and hunt over shooting all spammers out but ocassional hit would be good

If they make it any easier to report spam sites, then imagine all the more legit sites that will be reported as spam that Google will have to double check.
Every one you find and report will just cause another 100 to be created.
Google will deal with them eventually...
lol.. although reporting the mega spam domains might be the "right thing to do" its still like being the kid in class who always tells the teachers what the other students are doing.
Just worry about your own SEO stuff, it's easy to outrank pure spam pages.
