was pleasantly surprised! Looks like generic longtails will be king there.
If I go to Google and search for "automotive parts" (without quotes) my
site AutomotiveParts.org doesn't show up... at least not it the 15 pages I
checked! But at bing.com it is number 7 AND 10! see here:
http://www.bing.com/search?q=automot...st=6&FORM=O4RE
My traffic jumped (this is a new site so there wasn't much to begin with)
in line with the bing.com launch. See the graph here:
http://www.quantcast.com/automotiveparts.org considering that there are
approx 797,500 searches /mo across all engines for that term, this is the
only explanation I can come up with and I am hoping that the traffic
increases as more people become aware of this new engine!
All of my other generics are at the top for their key term as well, even for new sites like "transmission parts" (no quotes) shows transmissionparts.info in the first page.
UPDATE: looks like AutomotiveParts.org is actually now at the bottom of the 2nd page on google for "automotive parts"

now we just need bing to take off..
I also saw more #1 rankings for other domains I own.

Google yahoo and Bing all like keyword domains
The way they penalize and reward you is the biggest difference.
I have gotten listed with few links with keyword domains on all three they each link at link and content differently. Bing is the easiest
