To cloak or not to cloak -That is the question

I was thinking of using cloaking software on one of my sites but hav not tried it yet. Has anyone used it ? What effect did it have
Any bad experiences? The sites new so it can`t do any harm can it? Let me know your experience of cloaking

cloaking is dangerous, google's getting smarter, and you would be risking a ban; in short: do not cloak

Consider cloaking only if you have valuable source code for your pages, in addition to relevant content.

Cloaking can be done in so many ways that there is no simple answer.

Google themselves makes a language/country cloak on their site.

In general, there's no real worries about cloaking if it's not meant to fool the search engines.
