    Disappearing PR6!

My domain planet.com had a page rank of 6 until a few days ago. It is now 0! I have had it on sedo parking for over a year now. One thing I did do recently which probably affected it was to change from having the DNS pointing at sedo's servers, to having the DNS pointing at some my Hosting company and have the hosting company forwarding the URL to Sedo - (in due course, I was planning to put a little frame above the Sedo ads asking why people came to the site, and this was the first step).

I have now put the DNS back to Sedo, but the question is, will the PR return, and is there anything I can do to ensure it does?

    Paul.

Re: Disappearing PR6! - and Hijack attempt!

Yes, someone else seems to think so too. I got the following message from Network Solutions yesterday:

We wanted to confirm with you that Domain Protect has been turned off for the domain name registrations listed below:

    Account Number: XXXXXXXXXx

    Domain Name Registration: PLANET.COM
    Update made by: George Cancelmo
Update made: January 18, 2006 4:14:42 PM EST

    Any one experienced similar?

    Re: Disappearing PR6!

Put some content on it (i.e. DNF parking pages) with Adsense ads and the PR will come back. I have many of such domains, frame redirected to a parking over a year, when I put content on it, the PR returned back.
I have PM disabled. You can email me: denny startseek com
