Does anyone know a 'Free automated reciprocal link service'?

Does anyone know a 'Free Automated reciprocal link exchange service' (= Webmaster will make i.e. a .php link page whereby link exchange between members become automatically - NO manual link exchange anymore) besides the ones I am already familiar with such as:

    1. Digital Point
    2. Link-Vault
    3. Bulk-Links.com
    4. Powerlinks.com
    5. Linkdiy.com
    6. Linkdash.com
    7. Linksoneway.com

If you know another place, please add to my list!!

(PS - Here I am not speaking about places like LinkMarket.net whereby Webmaster still has to do 'manual' link exchange!)

    Let me know...

    Thanks!

I use LinkMetro.com - it has a great free section and a more automated pay section which I have not tried yet.

I just got Seo Elite (not free). But you can download a free e-book I have about it here:

Do these Link Exchanges work? Does google not give a penalty for this?

Re: Does anyone know a 'Free automated reciprocal link service'?

I have tried Digital Point's Co-op network, and I got great results for a few months... Then it started going downhill, and one day my whole site got sandboxed.

Let me re-phrase... Any page that had the link exchange on it got sandboxed.

This got debated over at the DP site, and many of the regulars swear that it is a cooincidence, and all of the people that this happened to got hit because of some other reason...

But I stopped using it, and everything came back. This was consistent across several of my sites.

That doesn't mean that this service doesn't have it's place... Many people use them successfuly by putting the ads on a throw-away site... And point all of the links towards the real site. It works well for these people.

I haven't used the other services, so I can't speak for them.

I think Google does give a penalty for this. I used LinkMetro extensively on two of my sites, and after half a year they had a poorer rank compared to my other "clean" sites and they had almost no google visitors. My sites with less (but real) backlinks bring much more traffic and more revenue.

If you use link exchange sites, make sure google doesn't find out. And of course, always stay on topic...
