Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!The sedo average revenue has been steadily dropping in the last two weeks. Yet the targeted traffic for my better domains has gone up. I guess even though more people are looking, they are not clicking through.
I had 150 names with sedo and was very dissapointed. When I spoke with customer service they were not helpful.
It seems sedo is getting an inflated head with their recent success, and their customer service needs an overhaul.
I'm glad I moved, the traffic was horrible and they were putting most of my sites in the portal category (including 3 character .coms and dictionary words-go figure)...
Just my opinion...
what a wide variety of experiences.
I have nothing but praise for sedo, especially their super customer service. i have not seen anything like it recently on the internet.
I agree their PPC profit is dropping and I am not sure why, but on a few occasions, i asked them to manually change the keyword, and voila! it is back up again.
Of the hundred or so domains that i have moved there for a test in the last 2 months, only 5 are listed under the 'portal' category...

their customer support is good and quite fast.
sometimes you got to email the staff to change the keyword to suit your traffic.
Are Fabulous involved in the domain selling process when someone puts an offer in for the domain, or, is the enquiry sent directly to the owner?
Also I noticed that they manually approve new members, are they only interested in the big players?
Yes they are mainly interested in the large players, however all domain players can be valuable to them especially in the PPC realm and advertising their service (and thus thousands of other names) to the the "average joe" who started at your website. If a person has cash they are going to make offers on top names especially if you give them the roadmap on where to find them. They will very soon forget they even went to your site in the first place. If you are still using ENOM's url forwarding to domain sponsor wake up and realize that not all traffic gets forwarded and with Fabulous and sedo you have access to DNS servers. I hope that Fabulous gets a lot of new business from people who visit my page as they do a great job at allowing us to use their service and profit share with them. The stats are amazing. I really cannot say how much they have improved my ananlysis of my portfolio. They will help me decide which names not to renew next year based on traffic and click through percentages. I would say if you pick sedo or FABULOUS you would be in great hands. The other good combo is FABULOUS for sale frame at the bottom and domain sponsor tagteam like I have seen a few people running. And in defense of Mrs Jello ...Domain Spa isn't a bad option either but you can't tell where your traffic is coming from so i'm told.
I have had good experience with Fabulous.
In my opinion, sedo has too many characteristics of a DOTBOMB, so I stay away from them.
PPCIncome.com for a comparison of Pay Per Click parking services
Have sent Fabulous a couple of emails concerning possibly signing up with them, but have yet to hear back fro them. Anyone have a contact with them?
Thanks,
DD
Make sure you paste your entire porfolio. They do have adult sponsors so don't let some smutty names keep you from including them with your submission. I'm sure they like to see the full range of what you have. Most likely you will be accepted if you have over 100+ quality names. Sometimes they activate your account without sending you an email back so try logging in and you might find your good to go. If you haven't even applied yet someone must have the link but basically it's a URL you can go to and apply. I am sure it's private so that people aren't submitting who might normally pay $19.95 per domain on a normal basis.

Thanks for the information.

sedo now has D-I-Y keyword optimization. So that might translate to better targetted clicks and earnings, hopefully. I submitted my new keywords. And waiting for approval; it takes 24 hours according to info on sedo.
Any thoughts about Afternic's PPC? The old program was nothing to shout about but they have rolled out a new one as of yesterday. Any takers?
