My website has nice link popularity and is ranked in top 20 on Yahoo for the term they are interested in. What do you think would be a fair price for these 3 text links for a period of one year?

look at your rev. your traffic, and your rank, and price accordingly. Normally, PR has a big effect on price.

Saying link value is not based on PR is like saying domain value is not based on traffic. It's not the only way to value, just the one everyone uses.

Sorry, that might have been true back in 2003-2004, but not anymore.
It should be based not only on PR, but also on trafic your site faces and general impressions/clicks rate ads at your site meet. Say, PR5 site with 2k visitors per day: you can charge for a link low to mid $xx per month, PR7 with 10k may be low $xxx per month, imho.
