    Forum Content

I have a very newbie type question. Wondering if search engines consider the posts/threads on a forum as content and give such content same weight any other regular content in ranking a site? Would appreciate the answers.

    Re: Forum Content

As far as I can tell running two forums, the engines look at the content in the same way. Now if you use PHPBB then you need to do the SEO hack so they can find your content, but vB is good to go! It is great, because I have thousands of indexed pages which is not normal for a standard web site.
