Forwarding domains

Can you help me ?

I have forwarded 6 domains (earlier proxy sites with lots of backlinks) with a daily traffic of 500-600 visitors (according to SEDO parking stats), and when Im typing the url of the 6, all of them redirect to the site I want them to.

But somethings wrong as I dont get any traffic only a few hits so far (according to the stats from wordpress and adsense). Whats wrong here? what am I not doing correct? or do I just need some patience?

All domains are regged at Godaddy and using a 302.

Traffic

Have you physically seen any of the links or are you just going by GoDaddys "auction word" as to the visitors per month? Its possible that the links have been removed too especially if its been a while and they keep showing as no good.

It could also be possible that the links are going to specific side links such as www.yourdomain.com/files/info/43234j34.htm for example and being given a 404 code or something rather than being sent to the main domain homepage.

What method are you using to redirect? There are several different ways to do it.

With the most common methods to redirect the traffic in all likelihood is NOT counted as valid by Adsense or the parking programs.

1. Ive been using SEDO where I have had them parked for a little more then a month, and theres clickthroughs each and every day (50-70 clicks a day), so I know theres valid traffic.

2. Im using the domain control panel at Godaddy and then using the forward domains. and selecting a 302.

Maybe theres 404s, but how can I solve them?

I vote they were discounted as not valid traffic by google analytics

good click through ratios, why are you using a redirect, why don't you simply have them resolve as domains

usually takes a good 24 hours for a godaddy redirection to kick in. Also make sure they are parked at godaddys nameservers.

Tks all, it turns out that Google dont like most of the traffic. In Google Analytics theres around 30 visits a day, but in Awstats theres more then 400 a day, so I think I have to route this traffic into another website first in order to take advance of it... or maybe even build them to sites instead of redirecting.

That's your problem. I would never ever use a 302 redirect. Always use a 301 Permanent Redirect.

As far as I know none of the parking firms or Adsense count redirects as valid traffic.
