Getting Flash Sites Ranked

Does anyone have any tips on getting sites fully created in FLASH ranked???
Besides meta-tags....

I've read that there is not much you can do o, other than create an alternate version of the site, and of course the meta tags you mentioned. Or, perhaps if you have a lot of content, you could put some same-color-as-background links to pages containing your content... so google will index it.

putting same colour text links as the background will get you banned from google and most search engines its a big no no,

Quality Guidelines - Specific recommendations:

Avoid hidden text or hidden links.
Don't employ cloaking or sneaky redirects.
Don't send automated queries to Google.
Don't load pages with irrelevant words.
Don't create multiple pages, subdomains, or domains with substantially duplicate content.
Avoid "doorway" pages created just for search engines, or other "cookie cutter" approaches such as affiliate programs with little or no original content.

Google is now able to crawl flash sites, how well google does it im not sure as its only just starting to be able to do it, in time it will get better at it and other search engines will follow

well if you don't get it indexed to begin with... I'd think it's worth a try.. hehe. No worse off...

I would suggest to think again for a non flash website...!! I strongly recommend, both professionally and personally !!

I suggest that you include some kind of ASP or PHP code to recognize whether it is a search engine hit or just a regular viewer. If it is a search engine, display the text content along with the Flash. If not, just display the Flash.
