    Google advertising vs. Yahoo, MSN

Occasionally I run ads for my sites. Google seems to have the best interface - easy to use with useful stats. MSN is a good search engine, but their Adcenter is lacking in intuitive design and seems less responsive in making ads active.

Any thoughts here or experience with placing ads at MSN, Google, or Yahoo? Any preferences?

Re: Google advertising vs. Yahoo, MSN

I am not the one placing ads, just the one seeing them on my sites. Sometimes, yahoo's software does get it wrong, and puts ads on very inappropriate sites, i.e. picking up on the wrong words and contexts. I feel very sorry for the advertiser then, actually. Google does tend to get it mostly right. Just thoughts from the other side.

I will, but I am waiting until people find out the new adwords algorithms. Because People with .05 and .15 a click spiked up to $5.00 and $10.00.

Re: Google advertising vs. Yahoo, MSN

I would say that Goolge Adsense is by far my favorite. They seem to have the most relevant ads and they always seem to pull the correct content. As for Yahoo, I know that I have ads up that have nothing to do with the content on the page of the site which makes it way less likely that somebody is going to click.
