I think I have heard of people using them so just wondering. They are essentially the same as getting a popup on another site you link to if you use a landing page to prevent popups so I don't see why they wouldn't accept them..

You know, you could always just read the terms...
There's something in there about excessive popups. I forget what constitutes excessive. If you only have one for the entire session, I'm sure you're fine.

i disagree.
i am 90% sure that i have been contacted about exit popups before...
the email went along the lines of that they want to encourage people to use adwords... and if *any* form of popup/under is found on the site this is classified as an unfriendly experience.... i completely agree!
The only time I have clicked on google ads are by accident or when doing research on other advertisers.
People learn how to ignore that over time.
