Anyone notice the recent change to google adsense?. Whats the deal with "Ads by Gooooooooooooooogle"?....

you see at the top right corner of the page, it says welcome cwsteam.com look right above that, it says Ads by Goooooooooooogle

What they are trying to say is if you look at the bottom right hand corner of the ad it has changed from:
ads by google
to
ads by gooooooooooooooooooogle

It looks odd. Perhaps their site was hacked?
No... it is in their whats new. They figured it might catch more attention, and it seems it just might.

This new look of adsense is a lot better imo.... it draws your attention to the ad that should give you a slighly better CTR
They want people to click the gooooooooogle part because they sell SSL and other services when you click that link. Hey, we should get paid for those clicks!

Looks like the checkboxes keep changing. Once it said "Buy SSL from registerfly for $25". I guess they sell that space and are drawing attention to it.

Yes, I think it's looking quite unprofessional too.
But I think, that Google wants to make AdSense more popular. The 'Gooooooooogle' should bring more attention to their advertising program, so that more people will take part in it (as advertisers and publishers as well). I don't agree with you, GD, I don't think they sell this space. Maybe you clicked on the ad and not on the 'Gooooogle'-line?
That's what Google says about this stupid-looking line:

We’re currently running a test with new branding features on Google ads. You may notice some of your pages displaying ‘Ads by Goooooogle’ ad units. We welcome your feedback on this new look, and we’ll be analyzing the results of this test over the next while."
Nevermind, I get it now. They checkboxes are for feedback on the ads that are displayed, duh.
