Thanks for the info. I will checkout fabulous (never heard of it before) later on.
But, how do I get domains into the search engines so that my pages can stand a chance of 'placing 'em higher'?!?

well, that's the info which is worth some money, or at least some dnf$ (since u r brand new here and have no $dnf, other newbies are then encouraged to act and donate some my way
2 answer your question, u need to associate your domain with the content provided within your 'website'. the quickest way 2 do is via 'keywords' 'title words'. for example, if u have domain 'high heel shoes dot com' - u will most likely want to optimize your keywords for 'high heel shoes' , 'high heels', 'sexy shoes' , 'prada shoes' etc.. so that s.e. pix u up and associate your domain with those keywords (when people are searhing for them.) if you want to see what words are most searched check out the overture tool. if u do that u will see that most people r searching 4 the following terms related to high heels:
35871 high heel fetish
5505 sexy high heel
3786 high heel boot
3139 high heel stocking
there4, if i was u i would first use those keywords, and then add some of my own...
anyway, if u sign up with fabulous u will c that their interface allows u to 'optimize' certain features, including the keywords i'm talking about.
as 1 other member of this forum likes to say: 'seek and u shall find'
p.s.
word of wisdom, if u use highly competitive words the
seo placement will be very poor because to place very high u will need a real wesbite with content,
pr links, history etc.. but if u use relatively minor keywords and/or non-competitive words u willl be placed high very quickly.
