I would think that most parked domains get their traffic from type-ins or existing website links. I don't think submitting to search engines is going to do much, especially for a competitive sector like banking.

I have one site which is a misspell so i get write in traffic from that but im not sure what i should do about the others. I have a banking related domain name and i heard that a parked baking site can pay decently. If you have any ideas id love to hear them. thanks

Submitting a parked domain to search engines will get you nowhere. Popular parking pages are either using noindex attributes on their javascript files or they are so widely used that you will get picked up on a duplicate content filters if the content is not dynamic. Unless you have 404 traffic or existing traffic to the site, I would not try to inrease traffic to a generic parking page. Your best bet would be to put up some unique content then try to rank in search engines.. otherwise your doing everything in reverse.Originally Posted by gdubz

Free submission will get you nothing but tons of spam mail. Most paid will help very little and still spam. Best bet would be some good submission software that will allow you control all of that, and get you some clicks. Trellian has some descent products.
