How do you determine the source of Traffic?

Can anyone tell me why GravelSpray.com and RCRally.com are getting SO much traffic?

I'm getting alot of type-in traffic for these two domains but little click through, so I'm obviously NOT presenting the content they are looking for.

But it's been REALLY consistant and growing for the past 3 - 6 months.

GravelSpray.com, for instance, has seen 202 Uniques in the past 2 weeks, nearly 400 visitors for the month.

RCRally.com has had 458 visitors in the past 2 weeks and over 600 visitors last Month.

Both of these sites have seen a steady growth curve over the past 3 months.

The questions here is WHY??? Obviously, I want to capitalize on the traffice but I'm at a loss as to what this traffic expects to find when they arrive.

    Any help?

I can explain rcrally , it has an overture of 260 on the term "rc rally" , domain still has a few backlinks from the old site so the page its on now got indexed , google results for the term rc rally brings your parked site up #8 , and we know by overture that the term does get searched on , your keywords are not bringing up relevant ads though , "radio control" is RC.

Re: How do you determine the source of Traffic?

I see some RC related ads... I've just gone through Fab and chenged my catagory topic and keyword so it should (according to the preview) be MUCH more relevant to the RC World at this point.

    Thanks for the advice

    What about GravelSpray?
