Don't you find it interesting that the montra of this business is that all you need to do is grab up a name, park it and start to make buckets of cash? LOL!!!
It's also kinda funny to me that when you do contact one of the big resellers to find out what to do with your domain, they tell you to park it FIRST, then talk about value based off the parking revenue/traffic. The same guys that will take your PPC Rev if you promote agains thier TOS.
PPC Rev is not that easy. LOL!!!
That's why I buy and recomend that good domains be developed into your own "parking" pages. Build a small site, maybe 5 pages, add some good content and join some affiliates that are specific to your theme. Join Adsense and put some PPC Rev generation on your site.
Then, you can promote, link to, submit, SEO, market and advertise the living snot out of the site and get your PPC Rev too. PLUS, any affiliate sales you might earn as well.
Track your stats.
When it does come time to sell your domain, sell it as a revenue generating PACKAGE.... site and all.
In reality, unless you have one of the VERY FEW keyword domains with extension that people tend to type straight into their browser without using a search engine or anything... this is the only REAL way to generate PPC Rev.
Good luck...

I have seen domainers using AdWords to market their parked pages.
Don't know if their profits are greater than the expanse of advertising.
Anyone tried this?
Is this against TOS? I don't see why, since the visitor clicks on the ad because there is interest there.

If the domain is at a parking company then yes , it against the TOS , but if you have your own parking page built on your own Hosting then you can do that , but as you say it may not turn out profitable.Originally Posted by ecfae
