How to get Twitter traffic

I have a twitter related website. It has around 80 unique users per day, but I want to increase this to around 250-300 unique users per day. How can I do this? I've sent my link to around 120 directories, sent a few articles to various sites, and done a PPC campaign.

Are there any other ways that I can increase the traffic?

Get a huge amount of followers on twitter and post links to your site maybe 20,000 followers .

You're targeting people who use Twitter - why better way than to have some Tweet your site to a lot of followers? I think there are even people who have tons of followers and will Tweet our advertisement (for a price).

I personally have over 3000 users following me (i follow less than 800 back in return so my followers are active not just auto follow bots etc) and I run several twitter related services (not to mention these services have twitter profiles too with several thousand followers each too).

Linking to them in my tweets helps, it gets me around 200-300 instant unique visitors at almost any given minute when I tweet it, and usually that link, if kept as my last tweet ends up raking in around 1200-2000 uvs in 2-3 days (depending on the days of the week). And don't forget about RT's (retweets) I simply add the letters RT in my tweet and usually 80+ users will retweet my exact tweet/link to their followers too... The best way is to set an auto agg-feed and use twitters API to post auto tweets on users twitter pages when they registers or signup to use your service.

One of my sites has well over 1500 uniques a day and I only launched it a week and a half ago. It also helps if your twitter service/site is well designed, unique enough to separate it from all those scam/spam looking twitter services.
