What is my best option on traffic.I'm about to launch a Home,Real estate,Sales,Rent etc. Whats the BEST options on getting traffic torwards this site. Thanks in advance.Todd

1. Offline media classified ads.
2. Adwords with geo-targetting.
3. SEO is very expensive and risky option because of competitiveness of this niche. Don't expect any results for many months while spending quite a huge budget on buying links.
4. Buy traffic from second tier search engines (7search, etc.); but monitor your campaigns and traffic proactively (click fraud).
5. SMO promotion. I think a clever participation on craigslist and other relevant sites will get you some good traffic.

Let me add few more.

Write good comment on high PR blogs.
Write articles related to your site and submit it to article directories.
Bookmark sites.
Social sites.

For your niche, don't expect lots of traffic too soon.
It will take dedication and persistence.

This is #3 on my list -- standard SEO. A lot of tedious work with non-guaranteed results.

I recommend spending money and time on other ways to get traffic, which are more fast and predictable.

If you want fast, predictable, guaranteed traffic, than pay-per-click advertising is for you..... If you are looking to build something for the long term and you have investment capital, than SEO will be a definite avenue.... In a highly competitive niche SEO is an investment, your returns come later after plenty of work and money..

All of the techniques above are good techniques... but if you don't know what you are doing then you can get burned for a lot of money. Online SEO is basic and easy to understand... I would go try SEO Book, with a few services...

well being a domainer buy traffic domains ;-) its faster than most of the other ways

do some genuine development which is free!!

Like write some unique articles and put it over squidoo and some links embedded on it.. promote the squidoo page rather than your page!! Its ll show great results!!
