I didn't think it the banners would be effective when google first gave adwords customers the option of submiting them and adsence publishers the option of displaying them. But I must say the one banner 728x90 looked great.

Google usually puts the ads in the pool instantly. Everytime I put an ad into adwords, I search one of my search terms just to make sure it shows up.
