    link titles and anchors

Does anyone know if these help SEO.

Before I submit to the search engines I really want to get the site as optimized as possible.

I have put a few titles in some of the <a href="abc" title="xyz"> tags but am not sure if I'm overdoing it. because that yellow info box, will be appearing all the time as people roll over the links!

I have also used anchors and wondered how much these can help.

    Thanks.

I would do it. They do help in my opinion.

    Thanks Amiah.

Do you think that putting titles in every link would be frowned upon, and annoy people visiting the site.

    Thx

Some people may find it annoying but you will still increase traffic so it's worth it.

    Re: link titles and anchors

Titles can be helpful to both your visitors and SEO at the same time.

For example I have a download link with the anchor "Download" but I can put the entire product name in the title e.g. title="Download Jim Wilson's eBay Secrets ebook".

IMG tags can also contain title tags.
