My chances of topping google search results?

Hi All! Can't sleep well over this problem. I got a domain AB.com where A and B are keywords. Google Adwords shows:

100,000 searches for 'A B' with Broad match type and
200 searches for 'A B' with Exact match type

Does this mean the domain won't make it to the top 5 search results for the above 100,000 searches on google? (Assuming it's been developed for A and B)

I mean I am not interested in topping the 200 searches, what I want is obviously topping those 100,000 searches. But the question is, will the domain be able to achieve that?

I guess a more general question is, when researching the likelihood of topping the search results, should I only look into Exact match type and forget about Broad match type?

Build a site on A-B. Fill it up with good content and update it on a regular basis. Get good backlinks from high PR sites.

Also, do you mean 100,000 "searches" meaning 100,000 people searched for A-B, or 100,000 search results meaning when you enter A B (no quotes) into Google you get 100,000 results?

100,000 "searches" means the number I get from Google Adwords Tool when entering:

    A B

(without any quotes, which means Broad match type)

No the keyword probably will not if you are getting 100,000 searchs broad, then switch to exact, it is saying theres not really that many searchs for that keyword.
The exact is closer to the true amount of searchs

It's easy to get to the top with the exact words in the domain name if the words don't have too many results. But with something like 100,000 you can only have a shot if you have really good long term development.

    ifits a "type-in" type domain

    the keyword: dial-up service
    your domain: dial-upservice.com dialupservice.com

.com seems to be a little better at this, but even with that good of a domain name,it does not mean that you will have a top ten listing... it takes backlinks.

    Backlinks are king
