The links displayed in a Google "link:" search are not necessarily the only ones that are counted in the pagerank. I have several new sites with PR4 or PR5 that show no backlinks, even though I know they are linked up on dozens of PR4 & PR5 pages. I think the backlink servers update even less frequently than the pagerank ones.Originally Posted by stevesko

The new sites are going to high PRs and the old ones are remaining fairly static, there is surely something going on at G.
