Show your new PR and tell if your satisfied or not what google dit with your PR.

I don't get PR at all...if the update is really done, it baffels me.

I have a undeveloped site, just a pointer and it is a PR3.

I then have a fully developed site, original content, been live a few months, hundreds of inbound links and it is still a PR0.....

what gives?

I haven't seen any positive change.

All my content and merchant stores stayed the same.

Names that dropped that I re-regg'ed and had PR have all gone down or lost rank altogther.

Only 1 re-regged name out 10 that had pr4+ stayed the same @ PR5, but only shows when checked and not via the FF extention.

I have seen and heard all kinds of things about this update and NONE of it good.

Maybe we will see another update next month if it follows the same tread as the last update this year.

OR MAYBE....
the coders at google have boched the alogo months ago and are still trying to fix it, but are only saying that all this is part of the plan.....


***edit*** ok now i see 2 other sites that have gone from
PR 0 = PR 3
PR 2 = PR 3
and those re-regg'ed names 3 still have value just have to manually check them

Any new site that we have run for more than six months, but less than a year is a 5. All our existing sites stayed at 5, 6 or 7. Not going backwards is always nice.

Yes that's true en certainly with a pr6 or pr7.

one of my sites got PR5 from PR0.
for the rest nothing has changed.

I have 2 sites ... been online since 1996 had pr 8 for the last 2 years ... and after this update ... both dropped to PR 0

What gives ....

Then I have 2 new sites online the past 2 months ... little content ... both have PR 5 now ...

WHat does PR matter anyaway ? For me only a vicious tool to value a domain/website but not neccessary a proof for more or less traffic - popularity:

2 sites, same type of content (not identical) and services and optimized for the same major keyword phrases.

Site A = Google says it's PR 5, the site has less than 50 visitors per day.
Site B = Google says it's PR 1, the site has over 2000 visitors per day for over 2 years.

It's all magic.....;-)
