parking page scripts

Hi. I know that there are many parking page sponsors such as sedo, fabulous, domainsponsor etc..that pay about 25% revenue from the clicks. I am trying to see if there is a way to use my own and atleast get 50% or more. I also had a few questions about the best way to utilize domains that payperclick engines pay for and would appreciate some replys back. You can PM if you feel your info should be kept private. Thank you in advance.

1. Are there any easy to install and run parking page scripts that allow you to use certain payperclicks instead of having to go through the parking page sponsors?

2. If so, are there any that have some of the same features found on some of these sponsors such as auto optimzations and or categories you can choose from etc..?

3. Do some of the payperclick engines offer their own scripts that you can directly use if you can send a certain amount of traffic?

4. Which payperclicks do the bigger parking page sponsors use pull their results from?

Re: parking page scripts

HI

I posted this question on some forums some time ago as I am also looking for such a script but did not get a reply... and was told that I may need to get one custom programmed.. so it is something I am looking into getting done..

But would rather by an off the shelf script.. if it is possible to find and buy one..

If you find one can you let me know..

Thanks
Tom Dahne

PortXML is a good one at PortXML.com. I would personally use it myself, however I don't think your going to to get higher rates without going through someone like Sedo etc who uses Google feeds because you need an extremely high (1,000,000+ views a month I believe) to directly sign up with them. So it seems to me that you would always be going with an intermediary unless you are a big player.

Re: parking page scripts

I will check the portxml script.

Also, can someone have a look at baseballvideogames.com and tell me what script is this site exactly using? Is it one of the sponsors, google, or a custom script. I like the setup and could not determine if it's just a page he created or if it's a script pulling the results.

Re: parking page scripts

HI Mikess

I think this is what the parking pages look like when you have your domains parked with google.com but you need to have a lot of page views monthly before they will accept you... so baseballvideogames.com is not using a script but rather pulling results from the google domain parking program..

But I could be wrong.... :(

Thanks

Re: parking page scripts

yes, you seem to be right, they are using oingo, which is who google bought for their geolocation code, and offers as their domain parking program. You need around 750K visits a month to get in, and they want exculsivity as I understand also.

Re: parking page scripts

theparrot, what do mean by "exclusivity"?

Also, do you guys think that these parking pages using google generate more of a revenue for the traffic sender than what fabulous or domainsponsor would pay? What percentage more do you think?

Re: parking page scripts

Personally I believe Google has the best payouts even when your partnered with them through someone like Sedo cause you don't have enough views to go with them directly. Fabulous which uses Roar.com doesn't have as much "juice" as Google or the higher bids per click, so I still would go with a parking program that uses a google feed.

Btw, DomainSponsor does use Google if you qualify for their premier program.
