Results 1 - 10 of about 1,920,000 search results for domain.
Results 1 - 10 of about 193,000 exact search results for "domain".
How can this be? It's only one word. Shouldn't the numbers be the same?

search for "domain" is more specific.

Considering your response, I just searched for the domain with the .com extension and got 1,970,000 results.Is the TLD part of what you're searching for?

The .net shows 261,000.
The .org returns 239,000.
The results shown are only as, and for, a single word. Ocassionally it is listed as n'domain that has 348,000 returns.search for domain would include domains, domainer, domainerrific, etc. search for "domain" is more specific.
