DNF$: 233 Location: ABC | Sedo parking PPC - ¢ã/Click sudden down?? Generally, the average cost per click of all my domains parked at Sedo had kept around ¢ã0.32/Click, but today it lowered to ¢ã0.11/Click suddenly.
I want to know if the same change happened to you?
Dec. 21th-22th

Country: | I have noticed this also. I have also noticed that in the last couple of days, several of the domains that I have parked with them have quit getting traffic. These were averaging over 10/day. And now 0? I sent a request through their "contact us" link to find out why the traffic has stopped.

DNF$: 349 | it could be many reasons...
and its not sedos fault
all it takes is a few visitors to click on a lower paying advertisers and your average click goes down..

Country: | a messege from sedo 'With regards to the parking pages we are trying our best to get them back to normal but with the recent switch to Google we are in a little unchartered territory.
Obviously as a provider Google is vastly superior to Espotting, not just for reliability but also sheer coverage, and better targetting.
Here at Sedo we will still be splitting revenue the same way as before, but at the moment the statistics are not full enough to give us a good starting point .
Because Google allows more specific keywords we are having to carry out some experiments as to which keywords to use so it may be that for the first couple of weeks there are some inconsistencies, but the results should be worth it.' |

DNF$: 233 Location: ABC | Yes, from this month, Sedo change his ppc provider from Espotting to Google. I have found a huge down about the cost per click. Now it is around ¢ã0.04 /Click, nearly 10 times as lower as espotting's! Is the PPC of Google really so cheap??

Country: | Sounds like they are trying to improve the targeting. Hope it works out. Can't live with a 70-80% drop though. Any recommendations on another PPC site if Sedo does not improve in the next few days.?

DNF$: 233 Location: ABC | the email from sedo:
Yes we have changed from espotting to google. This will allow our users to geotarget their search results as well as harness the power of google. Unfortunatelly, the google and espotting systems are not necessarily compatible when it comes to keyword searches. This may lead to lower PPC rates. We are working to correct this, and hope that within a month, our users will see a higher PPC than before.

DNF$: 3,441 Location: Oklahoma City | I have seen some lower prices, but overall my average has remained pretty steady. One other major change that I have noticed is that sedo's nameservers seem to be catching all of the sub-domain traffic they were loosing prior to December 1. My traffic literally doubled overnight, with some of my worst domains instantly becoming profitable. Hopefully the prices will continue to go up.
I also hope that the keywords can get a bit closer to the traffic I get. I don't look for typeins, I am trying to buy traffic domains, and often the keyword doesn't match what the previous site was about. I noticed that google now has a parking service of sorts that will try to match domain names with keywords. Might work well for typos, but not for the expired traffic domains. |

You are lucky. Why has your average remained pretty steady? From Dec., my commision per day has down to 10 times as low as previous days. And anybody? I use URL forwarding instead of using Sedo's DNS, if it will result in revenue losing??
Ps: my dns allow to forward all sub-domains with a "*"

I am requesting from our Tech Dept a detailed report on what downtime we experienced. I will forward that to you.
btw: WE ALWAYS reimburse all our publishers for any downtime on our end regardless of the source of the problem.
This effectively means there is NO CO$T to you. Talk to any of our existing publishers and ask them if downtime is a problem for them...please.
I suspect your posts might be a little over the top and made in the heat of the moment.
Whatever the case we are committed to satisfyoing our publishers. That's how we have developed one of the best reputations in the business not the WORST!

Country: | Odd. I added over two dozen new domains to my Sedo account, and my daily average dropped almost 50%! Some of these new domains even added views/clicks to the running total. |

Country: | If you're using "*" via eNom and a redirect you're losing traffic, not sure about other registrars. If you using a redirect at all you will get sedo's 404 page on your domain's sub link traffic also.
Example: http://www.go-kart.info/whatever with nothing http://www.comparisonshop.info/whatever with "*"
