Just a quick question - Shockwave Flash obviuosly cannot be spidered with the text etc can it?
For example http://mainmankennels.deep-ice.com/ - only the meta tags will be considered? It would be easier and more effective to write the site in HTML so SEO can tan affect?
Any help/advice is great.
Thanks
Richard

So basically, having a website completely in flash is completely useless for SEO..Originally Posted by DogFaceBoy

I remember you can SEO a flash site, but it would require some work, i am not sure if it would requiere to convert the whole flash site into parts or whatever, but i am pretty sure it can be SEO.Originally Posted by rawkinrich
Also try to reasearch about cms flash on google, your may find something useful from that.

Thanks lads,

A lot of times SEO'ing a flash site can be like trying to teach a horse to swim, but depending on the site you may be able to get some results (depending on what % of flash it is, how it is coded, etc.)

break it up - full flash/shockwave sites are not good. Depending on the design, where there is text in the content make it plain html. It's really a downfall of Macromedia or embeded applications.
My advice is not to use flash at all. If you must use it, make it minimum.
