Hello,

I'm quite new in the parking business.
And lately I am becoming just more confused.

I have some domains that has not results in overture, has about 10-12 views per day and beither 1 click. And I the problem is not in the keyword I think. Maybe the views are result form some bot scanning but I don't know how to figure it.

Furthermore, I see a guy on the forum selling a domain that is parked on sedo and has about 70000 views and he claims that the traffic is all from typeins. This domain name had 111 in overture for the previous month and now it has 50. 70000 views for 30 days is more than 2000 per day.
I regged yesterday a name that has currently 131 in overture. I've parked it at sedo and currently it has not even a single view.

Instead of getting some clearance with the time passing by, I'm just getting more confused.
Could you (as more experienced than me) explain the relations between overture, typeins, views, parking? What I'm doing wrong? And how do you find your domains for parking?

In your case you can't trust only on overture.

Do you regged a domain with 131 in overture with extension or without extension?

did the name you regged have a hyphen if so, overture results with hyphens are all bogus, explaining how overture works is a lot of typing i would suggest reading all the posts on overture here. I suggested a permanent link that explains overture because I feel like I am being rude by not explaining how overture works, but the same question you asked is asked every day on this board and it would become a full time job answering the same questions every day, on the guy who claims al those views at sedo, be carefull both overture and sedo views are easy to manipulate, there are a lot of scammers in this business

What else could be used to determine the right domain names?

It's 131 with extension.

I have some idea how overture could work although not in details.
My domain name mentioned above with 131 in overture is with extension and without hyphens. And it seems to me not very likely that someone would manipulate its result in overture but I could be wrong. The fact is that for its first day on sedo, there are not any views (except 1 made by me just to check if everything is fine with the parking).

The name on the forum I'm talking about could be manipulated probably, it is listed in "Domains with Traffic" section for 35k BIN. Also probably it's strange that its result in overture has dropped from 111 to 50 for a month. But this is not directly related with my topic. I've just mentioned it because it added some more to my confusion.
