Web traffic and SEO advice needed

Hello...

I just started a free classified ads website and am trying to drive traffic to it.

Has anyone had luck buying run of network (RON) traffic? Any good recommendations for who to buy from?

I do not want just a server to keep visiting my site to raise my Alexa rank. I could care less about Alexa rank, I need real live visitors.

So far, Ive submitted my sitemap to the major search engines and am waiting to get indexed.

Any ideas on how I could better do the SEO on a site like this?

Do some seo, directory submissions, social bookmarking, promote at social networking sites, submit press releases etc.
