1 month to PR4
Cogito, ergo sum!
i hope that my site can be like that too ... LOL
I've been waiting for 2 months still nothing
well, I was lucky I reg'ed it a month before the update lol

1 update period to PR5
The best I had was 1 update to get from 0 to 6. But I once I acquired a
PR7 domain and after two or three days it was PR0. I had not been care-
fully enough. It was a fake PR, so I let the domain drop.

One period (90 days) a new site to PR3 is my best.

JDK : People use SEO tips to get fake PR. I saw a site for sale which had no backlinks and had PR 7.
Then when you check from whatsmypagerank.com it will show PR 7 due to the cache but if you check from the official google checker, it will show PR 0
Fake PR ?
never heard about that.. does the PR appear in google toolbar or using a script?
My experience is normally from 0 to 3 or 4 in one month without doing anything. Just link to each other between all my sites.
A faked PR shows up in the Google toolbar, because the domain actually hasOriginally Posted by aboutwhat.org
that PR. But it will loose it again after the next PR update. I found a useful
tool to check if a PR is faked or not:

In addition you should still check the backlinks by yourself though.
Wierd ... they said that my hotwebtools.com was banned from google :(
OMG ..........
Fake PR is easy
I believe all you need to do is 301 redirect a domain to a high PR domain for a while
LOL .... that's easy.
But it wont last long
