Buying traffic is a waste of money, just do a little seo work, and you will get natural rewarding results.........

It depends what you mean by "buying traffic", if you are talking about that "get a billion hits to your website for $2" stuff, then, I'm inclinded to believe that most of these tiny companies offering that are not going to earn you your money back.

However, there are some reputable places to buy traffic from. Think PPC. Start with Google(adwords), Yahoo(overture) and see where that takes you. But, be warned, it's just like anything else, if you don't know what your doing your probably going to lose money.

There was just a good discussion somewhere about this (cant find the link right now), but basically after 20 days of debating, it was proven that in general when you are starting a brand new website its not going to be cost effective to just throw money into large heaps of traffic purchases unless you have capital to play with and an expert to guide you. Therefore, go with what joeny recommend and get as much free or exchanged traffic as you can in the beginning.

i just had an idea making some money with ppc and i need some unique traffic to my site..i don't know if it is a fraud but can u buy some traffic from a company and give them your direct affiliate ppc link to make hits so if it costs to u example 100$ for 10,000 u/visitors and u make 0,05$per click with your ppc parking u will earn 500$..what do u think..?don't say i am a fraudster i am just thinking ways to make some money...

Don't buy traffic ... especially low quality traffic to send to ppc pages it is highly frowned
upon and will likely result from you being kicked from whatever ppc program your using. Most "purchased" bulk traffic is complete garbage and a waste of money ...

Don't send it to parking pages, unless you have an OK from the parking service. And, be very careful before throwing $100 in that, it may not convert the way you think it will.

buy traffic domains , typos etc.. don't waste your money on those traffic companies , they are mainly popup traffic with almost zero conversions.

From experiencing with just "buying traffic" just to get it, hoping to make some money from it, was a waste of time..

I spent around $40 - $50 testing something where I would get 800 - 1000 visits a day, and I did for 2 - 3 Days, but these visitors just sat on the page and did nothing, which did nothing for my $$$ and was a waste of time.

Go with PPC and post around websites with the Link in your signature, exchange links and so forth.. That way, the traffic you get is good and quality traffic which will most likely browse your site and make you some $$$

Dude, you are talking about 100% CTR, which is impossible.

for you 0.01 per visitor and .05 earning. , you will need a CTR 20% to get even(not losing money)

I would say don't bother about buying traffic for your site as it is a waste of money and bandwidth. Most of the traffic that you get on your site is not targeted.

Well .... having been a domain name reseller for over 2 years and having little success, I can tell you I tried "buying" some traffic for 2 moths. I got thousands of hits and not 1 single purchase!

I've recently started using the free traffic exchanges and after 2 weeks I just got a sale from that. So from my point of view, don't waste your time and money on purchasing guaranteed traffic - just start using what's already available to you for free. Free is good!

If you're really hot to spend some money, then go with the PPC -but make sure you get educated on PPC BEFORE you start spending money on it.

I did what you are planning on doing before parking companies banned it, i bought keywords from places like goclick for 5 cents and sent them to related parked pages that paid 1-2 dollars a click so even with a 10 percent click rate i made money, I stopped doing it when parking companies disallowed it.
