Wordpress "pingback" question

Hi. This may be a noob WP question, but I have several blogs with good pagerank which get many "pingbacks". How do I decide whether to accept or not? Do I click the link and see whether the site looks legit?

I never accept them, a pingback is usually just a notification that you have an incoming link to that article. It could either be legit or an attempt to siphon off of your PR.
