| Gold Lifetime Member | Your 'High ranking Keyword' strategy...HELP... This is for those of you who have your websites in Search engines ranked HIGH for your particular keywords. (with in top 10 of google) so if your website is ranked 1-10 in google for your chosen keywords then please do answer! When you did you keyword research choosing your particular keywords, did you go DEEP into analysing your competition for that same keyword (seeing their HTML code etc) and use SEO Keyword tools for determining your competition for your keyword terms..... or just simply found your keywords, made content for them, and the usual linking to your site.... and then you ranked high for them? did you go deep into analysing your competition? or didn’t bother and still ranked high ? Share your method/strategy if your site ranks high for some of your keywords. |

Country: | Hi there! What I have personally done is finding keywords using different tools and doing research amongst my potential visitors/clients what they would look for, then made content to match those two + some "usual" linking. I would say though that it all comes down to how fierce the competition is. I made the choice to stay away from higher competition keywords and instead focused on my niche. I am convinced that if there is high competition in your field and that is what you are going for then, definitely, you would need to put time into researching your competitions use of keywords also. Maybe goes without saying, but the harder the competition the more research and skill (plus good links) it will take to get to that first page. |

Country: | Hi I have many websites ranked in the Top 10 and 1st Place. I use words that are in my website that are relevant to what a visitor would expect find when requesting results from the search requested at Google, Yahoo, and MSN. I like to use Google, Yahoo, and MSN as tools to research and gauge the market saturation for the keywords that I want to target the most. (I have hunderds of Top Listings at Google, Yahoo, and MSN) - If you would like to see example, just let me know. - If you have any questions, just ask, I will do my best to help.

DNF$: 10 Location: New York | we do extensive keyword research and rarely "rely" on what the competition is doing...for example, we launched FoodCouponsDirect.com in April...if you google food coupons, this site is # 2.... keyword research and SEo was vital....looking at the competitors sites were not....if you go to my site at AndrewHazen.com you can sign up for free SEO tips.... |
