    404 Redirect Help

    Hey guys,

    I'm running a Linus server with Ensim Pro on it, could someone explain how i would capture the 404 traffic etc. etc. I have no idea :(

    create a new file .htaccess
    inside place
    ErrorDocument 403 http://www.****.com
    ErrorDocument 404 http://www.****.com

    and that is it.

    This may sound really dumb but where / how to i get access to the .htaccess, what folder would it be in?

    I haven't used ensim in a few years but log into your control panel and go in the public_html folder. It should give you an option to create a new file. Create .htaccess with no extension. Edit the file and place the data I gave you but replace with the domain you want to redirect to.

    You could do it in notepad, ftp the file, and then go in and edit the file name to remove the .txt
