Can I change a proboards forum into php or vbulletin?

Is it possible to incorporate an active message board into php or vbulletin?

I have a forum w/200+ members...it's a crappy proboards forum..I want to change it to php or vbulletin.

Can I do this without the members having to re-register and posts/threads being lost?

Thanks for the help in advance.

I know for a similer board system like ezboard its possible to convert to other formats but the posts show up as guests. Not sure what happenes to members. But maybe if you got a coder he may be able to modify it for proboards.

    Not planned for vB.

200 members is not many at all. You could easily get vB, and email everyone, and tell them to sign up again, or even do it by hand.

Of course, you'd lose the posts.

Re: Can I change a proboards forum into php or vbulletin?

Thank you for the link GiantDomains. VERY helpful, I really appreciate it.

I was just hoping there was someway to convert it fast, without putting an inconvenience on anyone or losing any posts. oh well, atleast its just 200 members and not 200,000..

    thanks again.
