Stian, why is it for scammers? On the contrary its much safer than paypal, without the chargebacks.
It's not too popular, but low fees and extra security make it a pretty good alternative

I have no idea as I have never used MoneyBookers. But in 90% of the scams I have heard of lately, MoneyBookers or e-Gold is involved. They are always asking for payment by MoneyBookers. Why? I have no idea.. But I've heard it is easier to open up an account with them, without having to go through a verification process in order to make/receive large payments. Correct me if I'm wrong, I have just gotten a bad impression of Moneybookers. Blame the scammers.![]()
