    Help advise wanted

    Hi All,

I was wandering if you would be able to help or give some advise to me. We are starting an online casino ( have a few already ) but this one if very different. We have a domain and will be planning to put an online casino on the site. We software will be hosted offshore so its nice and legal. The site is affiliated with another company which offer a white label site which has the site template with it containing all languages but only a index.html file and a download.html file for each language. When a visitor goes to the French site and clicks on support or game preview the site goes to another site to the correct page and displays the support in all languages.

What I need to do is download the whole of the other website and add it to mywebs on my PC. I can then go to a find and replace with all the codes and images. The normal way that this can be done is to download the site via front page or another web programme the trouble is front page only gets as far as the html pages so the urls for the house of fun as like. www. mysite.com/support/index.html?jp/ so the site will only download the English pages.

Do you know of any software that will download the whole site? I have asked the company if we can use the help files and its fine with them, they can't give me FTP access to their site which would of been the easiest option and they don't have the files available either that or they can be bothered to help out. They have said that I can copy them from the site.

Any ideas are welcome, we have got someone lined up to do the web design but he is not really into programming so has no real idea . If you are bored at the weekend and want to earn some extra cash let me know.

    Cheers

    Craig

This software: http://www.httrack.com/ downloads a page you enter and downloads all other pages linked to that page. I think this is what you are looking for. Simply enter a website name and an output directory and it will download the whole website.

if the site is dynamic (PHP/ASP/JSP/Perl based) this won't do you any good.

As far as I know it should work with PHP/ASP, because those languages are processed and turned into HTML before being sent to the server/browser, although I may be wrong..
