That's correct, it has to be done through the host. Contact your Hosting provider and they should be able to do it, or if you have access to WHM or another root/reseller server control panel you can to do it yourself, under "Edit DNS Zone" or something similarly labeled.

Hello 1x1 - you can use the IP manager to manage your A record. just log into your account and go to manage IP's under advance tools.
