A new web-based game is being developed, TruPimpWars.com! This game is similar to that of PurePimps.com, PimpValley.com, PimpWar.com, and TruPimps.com. Why create another game when so many already exist? Because, these games are all text based turn games. The goal of the new site, TruPimpWars.com, is to become a more visualized site with more graphics then its predecessors.
TruPimpWars.com is looking for a graphic designer to create a logo and some basic graphics that will drive the look and feel of the site. The goal is to make the game feel like a video game, such as Grand Theft Auto. We would like our design based both off of the idea of Grand Theft Auto and that of PimpKane.com.
For this project, I am looking for the following graphics to be produced...
1. A logo and header for the site, similar to that of the pimpkane.com website.
2. Several background images for the game, also similar to pimpkane.com. One overall background will be used for the main site and pre-game pages. Then a seperate background for each city within the game that will be displayed during game play.
3. A few random, small graphics such as: Online Icon (an icon to show which users are currently logged in), some promotional graphics (some small banners announcing rounds, prizes, etc), and other small graphics.
As the site is not live yet and making money, only the necessary graphics will be requested first, with additional *paid* work to come. At this time I am primarily looking for a logo and background for the site. I can offer credits for game play, until the site begins to earn revenue in which additional graphics will be paid for. Additional work will be available and after this game is up and running there aare approx 15 other games to be done, in which all graphics will be paid for!
Before you begin your mockup, look at all of the sites mentioned here in this project. This will give you a clear understanding of the game, so that your graphics will be based upon the appropriate theme. The graphics your provide will remain uniform and should resemble those of pimpkane.com. TruPimpWars.com will be almost a clone of PimpKane.com, but our game will containe more features, a more graphical interface, and better prizes! We also have some additional site content (like our very own internet radio station to listen to while playing, private rounds, etc...) the other sites do not have, so we want to appear as though we are the best of all the sites available!
I have attached some example graphics from the pimpkane site to show you what I am looking for on this first project. Also I have posted some additional information about the project for your review...
The logo and background graphics must be a certain size. The background should be 700h x 700w in pixels. The logo should be 400w x 100h in pixels. The logo and background should also fade into one solid color on their sides, this color will be the site's primary background color. You may choose this color as it has not already been determined, though generally it is black. The background graphic should also be faded and not a dominating graphic, as shown in the attached examples.
Here are some ideas for the graphics themselves. The logo and background may have the same graphic in them, similar to the examples attached...
1. A low-rider with a pimp driving. The car may or may not be located on a street, and the car may also have a thug as the passenger.
2. A street corner, with a pimp standing on it. The pimp should hold a cane, have a coat, and jewelry as any pimp would. There should be a street sign on the corner, with a custom street name to be given to you later. A lowrider would also be present on one of the streets for the corner, if driven by someone it should be a thug, not another pimp or the original pimp for this scene.
3. A city space, similar to that of the examples attached, but not so similar as to be taken as a copy. It should be unique!
