Hi anyone recommend a good prebuild and hosted forum, that is fully customisable???? I have already tried Proboards and there quite slow to load up and unrealiable. Any free ones would be good or at least very cheap, i dont want too chuck too many notes away!

Sorry to be a bit stupid here, but whats a data export? I am new to all this web stuff! Your reply will be greatly received, oh and by the way is it free to use?
so that you can backup your data locally so if you wanted to set up your own forum on your own server once it has established itself, you dont have to start from scratch..like i will have to

PhPBB is really nice.
If your community is gonna be really small you might want to look at yabb se, its the easiest to customize.
