10 Bodies??? What have the police in Cleveland been doing?

Now, the count of bodies is up to 10 in and around the house of convicted rapist in Anthony Sowell's house.

How can this be???

You have women going missing in this neighborhood, you have a convicted rapist living in this area, and this guy has what may be up to 10 bodies in and around the house decomposing? rotting? and all are African American females?

Whoa...there is going to be a huge backlash on this one. They'll be raking the police chief and police force over this crime for not investigating deeper and taking this investigation serious because it is happening in a poor community.

This is a serial killer living among them and no one knew it???

It's in East Cleveland, which is considered the "hood". If it were out in the burbs, there would have been Amber alerts going off as soon as the first woman went missing.

It is incredible!!! How can they have this many women missing and no one putting the pieces together???

Was there a Missing Persons Department or did they consider this taking out the trash?

This is one horror story - not one must have been taken by lots of film makers.
Horrible and horrible then one can imagine.

Doc - Crime is a crime and don't try to color it.
If you call them in competent it is one thing and we can all see that written all over.

Here are some things I heard on the news (CNN) today:

The house was located next to a sausage factory.
Everyone in the neighborhood thought the sausage factory was the cause of the stench.
The smell was so bad, that even the sausage factory was convinced it was them - they had old sewer lines dug up and replaced.
No one really suspected anything, even when they saw a body fall out of a second story window.

We used to sell that stuff when I worked in a deli, it was the most disgusting deli "meat" we sold.

But - you'd think some sort of missing persons report WOULD have gone out - or did he go after women who were single, living alone, and/or homeless?

OK, this earns my "WHAT THE F***" award for 2009. I'm assuming "the body" was dead and didn't get up after the fall? AND NO ONE CALLED THE POLICE OR 911???

This is clearly a neighborhood that doesn't care.
