my account is better, but I assume it works the same way. With a $8.95 enom reseller plan do you have to add $100 at a time?

Yes

An Enom retail account does not require a $100 deposit so may be suitable, others like Godaddy and prices there can be good. Still others have tried Rackshack with very low prices but there have been some suggestions that support is lacking.
