Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!There is a name a colleague of mine tried to transfer away from Dotster that got denied by them (and he's a pretty together guy when it comes to domain names, so I suspect he is right when he says the denials were less than kosher), then removed from the renewal screen, then into the highway robbery redemption period stage. He'd hoped to get it on release because it's not a top tier name or anything, but before it ever hit any drop list or anything it is now showing up as owned by Dotzup.com
Would that person happen to be here? Or anyone know who he is? More importantly, has anyone dealt with him before and know if he's reasonable to deal with or impossible to bargain with?
I'd like to try to get the name back to the original owner (he's my webhost so if he's happy, things run smoothly for me) but don't want to waste my time.
Any info on Dotzup or suggestions would be much appreciated.
